Second expanded edition of the treatise on the use and making of the astrolabe, published in Florence in 1569. It describes the armillary sphere, the astrolabe and other astronomical instruments, among which the equinoctial armilla and the quadrant (plate on display) placed by Danti on the façade of Santa Maria Novella.
