This astrolabe comprises three tympanums for latitudes 24°/25°, 32°/36°, and 34°/38° (corresponding to the regions between the Persian Gulf and Turkey). The fixed stars on the rete are materialized by twenty-seven silver studs. The inclination of the axis of the ecliptic at 24° is marked on the back. Provenance: Medici collections.
