This "pocket-book" consists of three different notebooks totaling 142 leaves. Principally, these contain studies of water, especially of the erosive effects of vortices and currents. There is also a series of calculations for the excavation of the navigable Martesana Canal between Lecco and Milan, as well as notes of Latin grammar, geometry and hydraulics.
