LEONARDO DA VINCI - Two automatic hooks with counterweights

"Method of letting down a load which immediately releases itself as it touches the ground." Leonardo points out that the hook on the right is superior because it does not come into contact with the lifted load. Thanks to the counterweight, the hook can therefore bounce back when the load touches the ground, freeing the hoist from the load.
