Construction machinery

Brunelleschi's worksite for the construction of the dome of Florence Cathedral was, in a way, a "real-life school" for several generations of engineers. Obvious echoes of Brunelleschian machinery can be found in the works of Taccola and Francesco di Giorgio. However, the two Sienese engineers also designed smaller, less innovative equipment that was easy to handle and highly efficient.
