On folio 910r of the Codex Atlanticus, containing a drawing of the watercourses of Tuscany and the adjoining areas, Leonardo indicates the positions and place names of only 12 localities in Casentino, obviously those noted in a first reconnaissance: Borgo alla Collina (Commune of Castel San Niccolò) - Castel Castagnaio (Pratovecchio) - Fornace (Stia) - Pagliericcio (Castel San Niccolò) - Palagio Fiorentino (Stia) - Pompona (Pratovecchio) - Porciano (Stia) - Pratovecchio - Romena (Stia) - Stia - Urbech (Stia), in addition to "Bastinoccio", not yet identified on the terrain but found also on the maps of Piero del Massaio, preceding those of Leonardo, before Pagliericcio and Castel Castagnaio (on the right bank of the Arno).

This itinerary can be integrated with the localities and watercourses indicated on maps RLW 12277 and 12278.
