Mostly the work of Benvenuto della Volpaia, son of Lorenzo, this codex contains notes and drawings of clocks and their parts, machines for raising water, mills, cranes, etc. Folio 50v shows some drawings of pendulum escapements and a mill seen in 1524 "in the fortress or citadel of Pisa".
