Ardent patriot of the Trentino, he Italianized his name to "Alberto Dall'Eco," as displayed on the sign outside the workshop he founded in Via Giotto, Florence, c. 1880. Distinguished himself in the production of electrical laboratory machines and electrostatic machines. Taught at the Liceo Classico Galilei in Florence, where a plaque now commemorates him. His instrument laboratory was sold in 1894 to the engineer Giorgio Santarelli (1866-192?). On Santarelli's retirement, the business was taken over by Officine Galileo of Florence.
