Engineer, geographer, and globemaker, son of Charles-François Delamarche (1740-1817), he continued his father's work, in partnership for a time with Charles Dien (1809-1870). In addition to the globes produced by the Maison Delamarche, his works include a successful Atlas de Géographie, reprinted several times in the nineteenth century.
