Anonymous draftsman so called because of the "Venetian style" of his glassware designs. These are preserved, along with designs by other artists, in a file at the Department of Prints and Drawings of the Uffizi. The "à la façon de Venise" draftsman might be Bortolo d'Alvise, a Venetian glassmaker, who worked at the Florence glasshouse from 1569 onward.
