This polyhedral sundial has triangular faces finely decorated in the typical style of Stefano Buonsignori. It is set for latitude 43°30' (Florence) and is fitted with a magnetic compass for orientation toward the local magnetic meridian. Each face is painted with a different type of sundial (horizontal - vertical - inclined) complete with gnomon. Provenance: Medici collections.
