Terrestrial telescope composed of seven tubes. All the lenses are now missing. The tubes are made of cardboard; the largest, which contained the eyepiece, is covered with green leather with gold tooling and the Medici coat of arms. The other tubes, covered with white parchment (now turned yellow), contain a diaphragm in the front part. The first and second draw tubes contain a small housing for the compound-eyepiece lenses. The objective was housed in the smallest tube. The instrument is probably of English construction.
