Contained in a box covered in black paper, this camera lucida, made by Koristka, is of the prism type described in the firm's catalogues from 1892 onward. Mounted on the microscope eyepiece, it allowed a simultaneous observation of the field of view and the sheet on which the images of the microscopic specimens were drawn. Belonged to the Gabinetto degli Invertebrati of the Istituto di Studi Superiori of Florence.
