On September 29, the proceedings of the meeting on Maria Luisa Bonelli Righini, which was organized by the Club Soroptimist Firenze (www.soroptimistfirenze.it/homeuk.htm) and held in Florence in 2007, were published. The volume contains the papers by Mara Miniati on the Museum of the History of Science from Maria Luisa Bonelli Righini's research, by Alberto Righini, who focused on the Galilean biography written by Maria Luisa and by Isabella Truci, who underlined the late director's lifelong interest in the study of sources and documents. Published by the Centro Di and edited by the Club Soroptimist Firenze, the book also includes the proceedings of two other meetings dedicated to important Soroptimist members: Adriana Tramontano, brilliant teacher and educator, and Luisa Becherucci, historic director of the Galleria degli Uffizi. |
