Leonardo the Inventor - Science and Technology in the Italian Renaissance

Description:	The exhibition "Leonardo the Inventor - Science and Technology in the Italian Renaissance", created and produced by the IMSS, will be hosted at the Beijing Museum of Natural History from May 17 to July 31, 2006. The exhibition has already been presented (under its former title "Renaissance Engineers - from Brunelleschi to Leonardo da Vinci") in such prestigious venues as Paris, Florence, New York, London and Tokyo. The Beijing venue will host the whole section about Leonardo da Vinci and a significant selection from the other two sections devoted to Filippo Brunelleschi and the Sienese engineers (Taccola and Francesco di Giorgio). "Leonardo the Inventor" is promoted in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, University and Scientific Research on the occasion of the "Year of Italy in China 2006".
