The exhibition "Machina Mundi: Images and Measures of the Cosmos from Copernicus to Newton" has completed its official itinerary among the partners of the European Project World View Network - Culture 2000 (www.worldviewnetwork.org). However, after the showings in Florence (I), Landskrona (S), Frombork (PL), Woolsthorpe Manor (GB), and Prague (CZ), the exhibition is now making its way through Romania. Thanks to the support of the Babes-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca (www.ubbcluj.ro), on March 15, "Machina Mundi" was inaugurated at the Etnographic Museum of Transylvania in Cluj, where it will be present until April 15. From April 23 to May 23, "Machina Mundi" will be in Iasi and, finally, from May 30 to June 30, it will be in Bucharest. The exhibition, which illustrates for young people the major points of the so-called "Astronomical Revolution", will then be available for other institutions upon request. |
