Description:	In May 2006 the IMSS digital library began a new thematic project: the digitization of printed works and manuscripts related to the oldest Italian academy, the Accademia dei Lincei, founded in 1603 by Federico Cesi. The online publication of these works, dating back to the 17th century (1603-1630), will represent a useful tool for scholars. The documents, mostly housed in the Library of the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei and in the Biblioteca Corsiniana in Rome, will be entirely digitized by the end of 2006.
