Avogadro Digital Library

Description:	On the occasion of the conference dedicated to Amedeo Avogadro and the scientific culture of the first half of the 19th century (held in Turin and Vercelli on June 20-21, 2006), the Accademia delle Scienze of Turin and the Institute and Museum of the History of Science of Florence have initiated a digitization project concerning some significant works of the noted Piedmontese scientist. The Avogadro Digital Library, edited by Elena Borgi, Stefano Casati and Marco Ciardi, aims at the providing online consultation of the printed works and manuscripts of Amedeo Avogadro and represents a further enrichment of the IMSS thematic digital libraries. Access to the digital collection is available via a structured list or by searching the library's OPAC.
