Galileo and the Experimental Science

Description:	Within the program "Costruttori di cittadinanza" (Builders of Citizenship) promoted by the Provincia di Firenze, the IMSS launched its own project "Galileo e la scienza sperimentale" (Galileo and the Experimental Science). The activity, designed for high school students, was divided in two phases: a preparatory meeting with teachers followed by didactic sessions where students were urged to actively explore the research process made by Galileo Galilei. Thanks to the contact between teachers and promoters of this project, the activity also allowed for the thorough analysis at school of the project's content and challenges faced during the museum phase. The project will end in May with an evaluation meeting on the results achieved.
