During the annual meeting of the Society for the History of Technology, held in Las Vegas from October 12 to 15, the exhibition "Arts et Sciences: Le Verre dans l'Empire Romain" (Arts and Sciences: Glass during the Roman Empire) - coordinated by Marco Beretta and Giovanni di Pasquale and displayed at the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie in Paris from January 27 to August 27, 2006 - was chosen as an honourable-mention winner for being well designed and produced, as well as for raising interest in both the general public and historians. The prize, established in 1985, has been won over the years by many of the world's great museums (such as The Science Museum in London and The National Museum of American History).
