Description:	The IMSS Digital Library, together with the Biblioteca Europea di Informazione e Cultura (BEIC) and the Giardino di Archimede (Mathematics Museum in Florence), will publish - by the end of February 2008 - an important collection of ancient books dealing with the history of mathematics. The Digital Mathematics Library consists of a considerable documentary core of almost 1,000 titles mostly belonging to the Biblioteca Carlo Viganò of the Università Cattolica in Brescia. It will represent an indispensable tool for gaining access to the original works by mathematicians of the past centuries as well as a significant contribution to the diffusion of mathematics history and culture.
