Description:	In January 2007, the Library launched a project to arrange and describe archival materials in order to make thousands of documents easily available and accessible to researchers. Throughout the course of 2007 and 2008, we plan to organize the so-called "minor collections", specifically, the various small- and medium-sized groups of documents that focus primarily on the activities and works of Italian scientists or historians of science. These collections contain mostly correspondence, commentaries and notes concerning science and other materials. At present, some of these collections are already available to scholars via the Library's online catalogue using the following search terms: "Carte Amici" (Amici Papers), "Carte Matteucci" (Matteucci Papers), "Carte Parlatore" (Parlatore Papers), "Carte Pons" (Pons Papers), and "Carte Rodolico" (Rodolico Papers).
