For the occasion of "La Nuit des Musées" (Museums by Night) 2007, an initiative organized under the patronage of the Council of Europe, the IMSS presents a performance entitled "Moda e Scienza alla Corte dei Lorena" (Fashion and Science at Lorena Court). The event, which will take place on May 19 at 9.30 p.m., aims to recreate the atmosphere of the 18th century "didactic evenings". The Museum's staff, dressed in period costumes, will explain the purpose of some scientific instruments of the Lorena collection to visitors. |
