''Leonardo's Colossus'' awarded at the Window on Science Festival

Description:	"Leonardo's Colossus: The Challenge of the Sforza Monument", written by Andrea Bernardoni with the consultation of Paolo Galluzzi, was awarded Best Documentary in category C (Research Institutes and Museums Documentaries) at the Window on Science Festival. The documentary, created by the IMSS Multimedia Laboratory and video directed by the Pesci Combattenti company, presents one of the most ambitious artistic and technological challenges of the Renaissance. Thanks to Leonardo's drawings and notes, it was possible to reconstruct the monument's molding and casting process through digital animation techniques. The Award Ceremony will be held in the second half of October 2007.
