Within the EU PENCIL Project the IMSS Multimedia Laboratory created the application "Galileo's Microscope". Through the sections History, Explore and Simulation, the user can learn about the evolution of microscopy during the 17th and 18th centuries, discover the component parts of the microscope and its functions, and better understand its uses thanks to the interactive animations. |
