Storia della Scienza Under 18

Description:	Following the success of the past two years, the Direzione Scolastica della Toscana and the IMSS present the 3rd edition (scholastic year 2007-2008) of the initiative "Storia della Scienza Under 18" for primary and secondary schools in Tuscany. The students taking part in the project are invited to carry out research related to a key location of the history of science: a scientist's home, the site of a famous scientific experiment or the seat hosting an important scientific instrument. Each group, coordinated by a science teacher, can choose a place, a figure, or an episode related to the history of science and create either an exhibit, a multimedia presentation, a scientific script or an essay. The most relevant research (to be sent to the Direzione Scolastica della Toscana by May 30th, 2008) will be presented to the public before the end of this scholastic year (date and place to be determined), and then published on the IMSS website.
