Guided tactile visits to the exhibition ''Ancient gardens from Babylon to Rome''

Description:	On September 3rd and 24th, two guided tactile visits to the exhibition "Ancient gardens from Babylon to Rome" (Florence, Boboli Gardens, Limonaia, 8 May - 28 October 2007) took place in cooperation with the Florentine section of Unione Italiana Ciechi. The visits allowed the visually-impaired to experience the beauty of ancient gardens via scent, sound and touch, immersed in an exhibit that boasts original archaeological finds, aromatic plants and shrubs, and a variety of working models of refined water works, some even reproducing the twittering of birds.
