The IMSS at the Festival della Creatività

Description:	From October 25th to 28th, the IMSS participated in the 2nd edition of the Festival della Creatività (Festival of Creativity), which took place at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence. The IMSS presented a laboratory called "Reti di luce" (Nets of Light), conceived by Gianni Miglietta. The laboratory was comprised of a series of interactive models based on the "net" concept as a geometric form and the ordering of space. Scenographic projections illustrated the birth of a map, a sundial, views of landscapes or portraits. The projecting of light was used to explain the transformation of a tri-dimensional form into a bi-dimensional drawing, how to draw a perspectively accurate image or how to create optical illusions.
