On the occasion of the 350th anniversary of the foundation of the Accademia del Cimento, the most important editions and translations of the "Saggi di naturali esperienze" (Essays of Natural Experiments), published in 1667 and edited by Lorenzo Magalotti, will be made available online by the IMSS Digital Library.
The significant core of manuscripts of the Accademia del Cimento (49 manuscript volumes), preserved at the National Library in Florence, are also available online. The entire correspondence of the Cimento academicians has been transcribed and made available to users both in image and text format. |
