On November 16th the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science hosted the 2007 edition of the Galilean Lectures. The conference, entitled "Galileo and Technology", was attended by eminent scholars from all over the world and focused on the relationship between Galileo's achievements and the technical knowledge of his time.
