Description:	In 2007 the IMSS Library acquired about 1,900 books and pamphlets (about 900 of which were received as gifts or exchanges), and the ca. 1,100 monographs of the collection «Historical Mathematics on CD-rom». Among the about 1,000 purchased books, 336 were published in 2007, 319 in 2006, 61 in 2005, etc. As for the country of publication, 251 were published in Italy, 219 in the United States, 146 in the United Kingdom, 112 in Germany, 75 in Spain, 74 in France, etc. The language of the texts is mostly English (453), 232 are in Italian, 102 in German, 93 in French, 74 in Spanish, etc. All the documents acquired in 2007 have been catalogued (including the subject indexing, index transcription and cataloguing of single essays in miscellaneous volumes) and are searchable in the Library's online catalogue. The articles of Italian history of science periodicals have been catalogued, as well as three special collections recently acquired by the IMSS Library: the Boffito Collection (last tranche cataloguing completed), the Astronomy and Meteorology periodicals and the collection «Historical Mathematics on CD-rom».
