International conference ''Torricelli, Galileo e la scienza moderna'' and ''Galilean Lectures'' 2008 edition

Description:	Organized by the Comune di Faenza, in collaboration with the Institute and Museum of the History of Science, the international conference "Torricelli, Galileo e la scienza moderna" (Torricelli, Galileo and Modern Science) took place from October 16 to 18 in the Teatro Masini in Faenza. The conference was part of the program of the celebrations for the 400th Anniversary of Evangelista Torricelli's birth and the centenary of the founding of the International Museum of Ceramics in Faenza. On October 17 the discussion focused on the "Galilean Lectures".
