Description:	The 5th issue of "Galilæana" was published. The journal examines in depth all of the aspects concerning the figure, work, scientific findings and successes of Galileo Galilei. Promoted by the Institute and Museum of the History of Science, "Galilæana" is published annually under the auspices of the Universities of Florence, Padua, Pisa and Domus Galilæana. The significant "Galilæana" appendix - Galilæana on-line - can be consulted at the IMSS web site (www.imss.fi.it/istituto/galilaeana). In addition to the journal's cumulative indexes, Galilæana on-line also publishes supplemental documents (manuscript and printed texts, digitalised copy and iconographic material) cited in its articles.
