Extended to January 31, 2009 the exhibit ''Galileo's Telescope. The Instrument that Changed the World''

Description:	The exhibit "Galileo's Telescope. The Instrument that Changed the World", inaugurated last March at the Institute and Museum of the History of Science, has been held over until 31 January 2009, thanks to its great success and warm public reception. For the edition of the exhibit in Beijing, which was noted in the August-September Nuncius Newsletter, was created a section dedicated to "The telescope, measurement of time and longitude". As of December, this section will be possible to visit virtually via the site dedicated to the exhibit.
