On November 20th and 21st was held at Bologna and Ravenna the conference "Metamorphosis - between Science and Literature", organized by Universitą di Bologna, Europaeum, Fondazione Flaminia, Centro Studi "La permanenza del classico", Dipartimento di Storie e Metodi per la Conservazione dei Beni Culturali di Ravenna and Institute and Museum of the History of Science.
The theme for the 2008 Classics Colloquium - the seventh in the series - was metamorphosis, in its various meanings - literal and metaphorical.
