Description:	Among the events sponsored by the "National Council in celebration of the 400 year anniversary of the 'invention' of Galileo Galilei's telescope", the Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale di Firenze (National Central Library of Florence, BNCF) in collaboration with the Accademia della Crusca has organized the exhibition "Galileo and the universe of his books". The BNCF, as many already know, preserves the Galilean Collection, that contains almost all of existent Galileo's autographs and many printed works from his library. Within the course of this exhibition a multimedia display was created where it is possible to view the digitalized works from the "Library of Galileo Galilei project" of the Institute and Museum of the History of Science's Digital Library. The IMSS also collaborated with the BNCF to create a website of the exhibition where it is possible to access a large part of the books on display in a digital format.
