The meeting titled "La Scienza come motore dello sviluppo, la pace come motore del mondo" (Science as a source of progress, peace as a source of the world) was held at San Rossore (PI) from July 8th until July 10th. The Institute and Museum of the History of Science participated at the event by having a stand where didactic activities were presented with the use of multimedia. The participants could touch and use some replicas of instruments, lenses and optical games to allow them to understand in a hands-on way some of the principles of mechanics and optics. |
