''Galileo's Telescope'' in Rome and Stockholm

Description:	Following the shows held in Florence, Beijing and Philadelphia, the exhibition "Galileo's Telescope" was then hosted by Palazzo Incontro in Rome and by the Nobel Museum of Stockholm. One of the two surviving original telescopes of Galileo, both property of the Institute and Museum of the History of Science, is exceptionally displayed in Stockholm. Conceived by the IMSS in collaboration with important research institutions (Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare, Istituto Nazionale di Ottica Applicata, Arcetri Astrophysical Observatory and Stazione Sperimentale del Vetro di Murano), the exhibition has been made possible thanks to the support of the Ministry of Education, Universities, and Research and the generous contribution of Officine Panerai.
