On March 26 and 27, 2010 the Biblioteca Labronica in Livorno hosted the conference titled "Aspetti della geometria nell'opera di Giordano Bruno" (Aspects of Geometry in Giordano Bruno's Work), organized by the Centro Studi Enriques, Comune and Provincia di Livorno and sponsored by the Conseil International de la Philosophie et des Sciences Humaines of Unesco in Paris and by the Institute and Museum of the History of Science.
During the two-day conference, chaired by Germana Ernst (Universitą degli Studi di Roma Tre) and Edoardo Vesentini (Accademia dei Lincei), some of the major experts from Italy and abroad traced the important relationships between Giordano Bruno's work and geometry. |
