Galilean Documents housed in the State Archive in Florence

Description:	Around 300 archival descriptions have been recently uploaded into the cumulative library database. They concern many important documents about Galileo housed in the State archive of Florence, mainly in the following collections: 'Fondo Mediceo del Principato', 'Notarile moderno', 'Decima granducale', 'Monte di pietà', 'Ricasoli', 'Magistrato supremo', 'Auditore poi Segretario delle Riformagioni'. Both letters and archival materials have been published (and sometimes only cited) in "Le opere di Galileo Galilei" (reprint of the national ed., Florence, 1929-1939). The archival descriptions are searchable in the cumulative library database and also in the database Archive.
