''Piccoli Grandi Musei'' Project

Description:	As part of "Discovering the Region", an initiative carried out by the Ente Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze, the Museum of the History of Science has been involved in the "Piccoli Grandi Musei" ("Little big museums") project, aimed at promoting the history and culture of the local territory. Thanks to this project, a permanent promotional system has been dedicated to the Museum of the History of Science and other regional museums. The system includes communication campaigns, cultural events and major exhibitions, the publication of editorial initiatives (both on paper and on DVD), and the production of an Internet portal, presenting the various museums' collections as well as offering virtual itineraries, bibliographical information, links, and thematic references.
