Founded around 1880 as the Medici Pharmacy, it has been known as the Bartolini Pharmacy since the early years of the 20th century. It has always occupied the same premises, on the ground floor of a nineteenth-century building. Recently remodelled, the pharmacy has retained its elegant antique furnishings from the early 20th century, integrated with more functional modern furniture. Surviving from its old pharmaceutical apparatus are nineteenth-century jars produced in the Deruta manufactory.
