The Museum illustrates the history, traditions and customs of the Castle of Montepescali, a free city starting from 1147, which was then conquered by Siena in 1300. The exhibition includes archaeological findings, musical instruments, a guillotine, various documents, tools typical of the local peasants' civilisation and parts of ancient clockworks.
