The building is 4 metres high (the original structure seems to have reached 12 metres), and has an outer diameter of 7.50 metres. Inside, it presents the typical mechanical apparatuses of windmills. Property of the Lavacchio Farm, it was recently restored, and belongs to the territorially diffused museum system of the Valdisieve. The institution is on the "Five Green Earths" circuit for territorial valorisation.
