Chérubin d'Orléans (1613-1697)
La Dioptrique Oculaire, Paris, 1671
Florence, Istituto e Museo di Storia della Scienza, MED 2162, pl. 37

A map of the Moon that the author claimed to have drawn by applying a pantograph of his own invention to a telescope. In actual fact, it appears to have been developed from the plates in Hevelius' Selenographia.
