Red-figure Lucanian bell krater

Depicted here is a convivial scene with a dancing satyr and a nude hetaera. On the right, a flourishing grapevine forms a pergola, under which appears a young man intent on playing the game of kottabos. This personage is perhaps to be identified with Dionysus.
