Fragments of pinakes with harvest scene

Clay, 470-460 B.C.
Locri Epizefiri, Mannella district, Sanctuary of Persephone
Reggio Calabria, Museo Nazionale, inv. 57351, 57352

These fragments, which probably come from two different pinakes, show a scene of harvesting fruit, which has recently been identified instead as buds of a variety of rose bush.
