Geri Bocchineri
He was born the son of Carlo di Geri in the days when Andrea Cioli headed the Tuscan State Secretariat. He was private secretary to Grand Duke Ferdinando II, and for several years enjoyed the sovereign’s favor. In the sortition of public offices in Prato on June 23, 1617 his name was extracted by the committee, but with the indication "absent". For the months of September-October 1654 his name was drawn by the Priors Office. In 1636 he was elected Governor of the charity organization Pia Casa dei Ceppi in Prato, but shortly afterwards, on February 17, by order of the Grand Duke he was replaced in that post by his brother Ascanio. In 1642 he was chosen to be a member of the Office of the Paciali, along with his mother Polissena Gatteschi. He died in May 1650.
