The pharmacy, whose current location is directly in front of its original one, was founded in the second half of the 19th century, as seems proven by a scale bearing the certification mark of the Municipal Metric Office from 1881. Around 1928 the furnishings were supplemented and partially modified, while conserving the original core dating from the late 19th century. The vintage ceramic pharmaceutical jars were produced by the Richard Ginori e Fontani manufactory of Sesto Fiorentino during a period ranging from the early 20th century to the 1930s. Dating from this same period is the image of the Madonna above the entrance.
