Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie

The elegant, single-aisle Renaissance church of Santa Maria delle Grazie is located near the Ceppo Hospital in Pistoia. In addition to being a place of worship, it is also a place consecrated to science: in 1935, the mortal remains of Filippo Civinini, Filippo Pacini and Atto Tigri, three illustrious anatomists who trained at the school of Medicine and Surgery of Pistoia, were moved into a single tomb here.
